What the video says
- Set up ArcadeCore · Part 3 of 5 · Chains
- Where each chain comes from
- Run a chain yourself
- Share what you run
- The Overview lists every chain this node can reach. Where says how: here means it runs on this machine, borrowed means another arcade runs it.
- The operator sets this in Admin › Coins & chains. There is one row per chain.
- Each chain runs here, is borrowed from another arcade, or is off. Off hides it from wallets on this node.
- A new ArcadeCore node borrows every chain except Pepecoin test, which always runs here: the arcade's names and posts live on it.
- Want to run a chain yourself? Install a node fetches the official release and checks its signature.
- Then it copies the chain's data from a linked arcade, so you don't wait days for it to download from the start.
- Change a row, press Save chains, and the panel offers a restart so the change takes hold.
- Share what you run, and other arcades can borrow it from you. That's how the mesh grows: every node that runs a chain helps the rest.
