What you can do with Litecoin

Hold, send and tip

One wallet holds your Litecoin beside every other coin. Send to an address or an @name, and tip posts and people in LTC. Your wallet asks before anything is sent.

Swap without an exchange

Swap Litecoin for Pepecoin, Dogecoin or DigiByte with another person. Each side locks coins on its own chain, and one secret pays both or both are refunded. Nobody holds your coins in between.

Trade with escrow

Buy and sell tokens and collectibles for Litecoin in one transaction both people sign.

Collect Litecoin ordinals

View, send, buy, sell and make Litecoin ordinals from the same wallet, and browse what's on Litecoin in Explore without signing in.

Litecoin test network

Litecoin's test network works the same way, with swaps between test coins only, so builders and new players can practise without risking real LTC.

Both kinds of ordinal

An arcade reads both Doginals-style and standard taproot ordinals on Litecoin, and writes the Doginals-style kind.

Swapping Litecoin

A swap between Litecoin and Pepecoin, Dogecoin or DigiByte settles on both chains with a pair of time-locked contracts. Either both people are paid, or both get their coins back after 4 to 8 hours. How swaps work.

For speed, swaps below 2 LTC act on unconfirmed payments; at or above that, and whenever a token or collectible is involved, they wait for one confirmation. Operators can move that line.

Litecoin on your own arcade

An arcade can run Litecoin itself, borrow it from another arcade that shares it, or leave it off. Running it lets your arcade check every block and lend Litecoin to smaller arcades, which pay in kind.
